Rivals Duel 60- The Planeswalker’s Guide to the Multiverse

Hello and welcome to another episode of Rival’s Duel. This time, Eric and Nole are picking where to take their planeswalker vacation, as they are arguing about the best plane in the multiverse. Both have picked their favorite and are duking it out over which one is the best. They also take an opportunity to gush over SOI spoilers and to answer several listener e-mails. Intro and listener e-mails:
We take a few minutes to answer some listener emails about our last episode (Note to David: We are saving the second half of your email for a future episode, we didn’t forget it.) as well as answering a rules question for Alex.

Shadows Over Innistrad spoilers:
We are almost one week into SOI spoilers and we’ve already seen 4 walkers and 4 legendary creatures. We take some time to gush over the new walkers (someone in WotC R&D also loves our Naya walkers deck idea) including an angel that has stolen Nole’s heart (and probably crushed it under her heel) and a Vampire that Eric is already ready to go steady with.

What plane is the best plane?
There are a lot of planes in the Multiverse (even more if you count all the ones we’ve only seen on Planechase cards), and what makes a plane “good” or “bad” is complicated and best. Does the fact that deciding a “best” plane seem impossible at best and pretentious at worst cause Eric and Nole to give pause for even a moment? Of course not! Eric and Nole spend a great deal of time talking about a bunch of planes they don’t like before finally revealing their favorites and arguing about which is better. Did your plane make the cut?
